Perhaps it is just me but I wanted to give feedback on the "Reading List" link on the left hand menu. In that menu list of links, every other link is a JuliaLang resource. At least to me, "Reading List" also gave the impression that it would be a reading list from the JuliaLang Team of their recommended books and articles.
I'm wondering if "My Bookmarks" would be a better name or not as it is literally a collection of articles bookmarked by the user and would be less ambiguous.
Wow. Thanks for the quick response. 😇
Hi Logan, just a technical question: How do you get e.g. the text "first posted on Medium" just below the author name of an article?
Hi @logankilpatrick, @patalt explained me in the meantime how this works. But I think it would be a good idea to add this point to the editor doc or to the FAQ.
Never used Dev.to, but looks neat. Not that I really need another social platform to check - but as I'm thinking about starting to blog again, it might be nice for sharing stuff.
Yeah, that would be cool. You can actually post to your own blog and then link the original post here. The meta tag will point to your original post so this will amplify it
Might have a "meta" post about this platform. Eg I got a notification that I have a "credit" that I can use to amplify a post - and I can purchase more? Does that money get back to Julia, or to forem? And pointing out stuff like this
What is the unicorn in the side bar?
These are good questions that I am looking into, not really sure right now. Same with the unicorn, not sure. I pinged the Forem folks.
admin.forem.com/docs/advanced-cust... might be worth looking at
I wanted to report a spammer and the spam article they posted but in the Report Abuse page, the re-captcha gives the following error.
Also "Upload Image" feature doesn't work for me.
@ellativity any thoughts here?
